A couple of weeks ago, as I walked to work along the river, I walked toward a grand old big tree. I decided to walk in the line of direction that would take me under its massive protective canopy. Once underneath it’s cooling branches, I asked the tree spirit to nourish me and I imagined it surrounding me. As I did so, I literally felt an amazing energy that enveloped me. It was an actual physical feeling, not just an imaginary filling of my body that I would usually feel when I breathe in and try to feel relaxed. It came from outside of me and was a split second of loving energy around me. I’m convinced it was the tree spirit that answered my prayer.
