During a meditative process led by Inna Segal in one of her zoom videos, she said something that started with ‘give yourself permission to …’
And it hit me.. I realised that ‘I give myself permission’ is vital for me.
I know ‘vital’ seems a bit odd to use, but that was the word that came to me as i was writing it down, and I realise that ‘vital’ relates to the heart & I sense that giving myself permission is actually vital for the health of my heart.
I give myself permission
• to express myself
• to nourish myself
• to stand up for myself
• to shine who I am.The fact that I haven’t given myself permission on so many fronts means my heart had become hardened, dried out, grey and lifeless.
I have been denying myself of so many things, and have had a subconscious belief that I need to get other people’s permission, or that I’m not allowed to, or that I ‘shouldn’t’.
I give myself permission to be light-hearted, free, happy, warm hearted,
playful, passionate, sexy, artistic, playful.I give myself permission to shine my amazingness and happiness.
I give myself permission to stand up for myself and to shine who I am.
I give myself permission to listen to my body and to honour my body.
I give myself permission to take action on what I want and desire, and to honour my wishes and desires and yearnings.
